Over 100 Armed Groups Joined the Ceasefire Agreement in Syria

Over 100 armed groups had agreed to join the ceasefire agreement in Syria that is expected to come into force on February 27, Syrian opposition's High Negotiations Committee (HNC) said on Friday.  

According to the spokesman, the HNC is planning to circulate the full list of the groups that vowed to stop hostilities later on Friday, Sputnik News reports.

“The number has topped 100. New groups have joined and still continue to join," HNC spokesman Riyad Agha told Sputnik in a phone call.
