Russian State Duma Called on to Impose Sanctions against Hillary Clinton
A group of deputies of Russia State Duma urged to impose sanctions against the former US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton and other persons involved in the conviction of Russian citizen Konstantin Yaroshenko, who was imprisoned in the United States for drug smuggling, RIA Novosti reports, referring to "Izvestiya".
As the authors of the initiative say, the special operation on detention of Jaroshenko could not take place without the knowledge and approval of Hillary Clinton, who at that time headed the state Department.
Konstantin Yaroshenko was detained in Liberia in 2010, a year later the US Supreme Court sentenced him to 20 years in prison. According to the investigators, Yaroshenko carried from Venezuela to the US through Africa a few tons of cocaine.
