The United Nations calls on Israeli leaders to restart serious discussions on a two-state solution with Palestine, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, Sputnik News reports.
"The Secretary-General met today with… Mr. Moshe Yaalon, Minister of Defense of Israel. He [Ban] stressed the need for both sides to restore a political horizon toward a peaceful two-state solution'', the UN statement said.
