The US Supreme Court has approved amendments to the legislation, which will provide the judges the right to grant the FBI permission to "search" any computer, regardless of its location, gazeta.ru reports.
The new rules have already been sent to Congress, which until December 1, should amend the law or reject it. If Congress ignores the request, the Supreme Court’s decision will be automatically adopted.
