President Hassan Rouhani described the issue of terrorism as a threat to all countries, saying Tehran and Ankara can play a leading role in fight against terrorism in the region, particularly in Syria and Iraq.
President Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting here with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 71st United Nation (UN) General Assembly in New York, Iranian News Agency IRNA reports.
'Terrorism endangers both world and region,' President Rouhani stressed.
