The wife of former French President Jacques Chirac, Bernadette was hospitalized in Paris, Interfax reported.
"Bernadette Chirac, deeply depressed by the death of her eldest daughter Laurence (in April of this year) and exhausted in the last few days because of her husband's lung infection, was on Tuesday admitted to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital".
On Sunday, it was reported that 83-year-old Chirac was hospitalized with a lung infection in hospital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris.
