Refugees in Turkey will receive 30 euros ($33) on a monthly basis from the European Union. The money will be given as part of the bloc's humanitarian aid program for one million refugees in the country, a EU source told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
According to the source, refugees will be able to pay for clothes, education and accommodation with the help of the cards, Sputnik News reports.
"The card holders will receive 100 Turkish liras on average. Families with schoolchildren will receive more money. The application process for bank cards will start in October," the source said.
