In 2017, Armenia's military budget will increase by 1.7 billion drams (about $ 3.5 million), according to RUSARMINFO.
According to the draft state budget for 2017 submitted on September 29 at meeting of the government, the cost of military expenditures amount will be 209.8 billion AMD (US $ 440 million). The military budget of the past year, 2016, was 208 billion (436 million dollars).
Earlier RUSARMINFO reported that Azerbaijan, due to the fall in oil prices, made the decision to cut the defense budget in 2017.
