Syrian President Bashar Assad said he plans to hold the post of the head of state at least until the expiration of his third seven-year term in 2021. The Syrian leader said this in an interview with The New York Times.
He also ruled out the possibility of political change until the time the government troops win the war.
He added that the state of the social system in Syria is now "much better than before the war."
