Denmark will increase military spending in regard to the deployment of Russian missiles in the Baltic region, which Copenhagen perceives as a threat, stated the Defense Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen, reports Reuters.
"We can see how Russians are deploying new missiles in Kaliningrad, which could reach Copenhagen. Of course, it is a serious risk," said Frederiksen.
According to him, Denmark is experiencing pressure from NATO, since it cannot allocate 2% of GDP for defense spending.
