On January 19, the Danish parliament discussed a resolution on the Armenian Genocide. As Ermenihaber reports, referring to the Turkish "Haberturk" during the discussion it was decided to put the resolution, containing criticism on Turkey, to the vote at the plenary session of Parliament on January 26.
During the discussion, the deputies who opposed the resolution stated that the genocide issue should be left to historians, but the initiators of the discussion responded by saying that historians have already given a clear assessment of this issue.
