Russia will pay off Soviet Union’s last debt in the amount of $125.2 million this year.
As a source in the Russian government told Izvestia the agreement will be signed in the next few months, and the debt itself will be paid off prior to the beginning of summer 2017.
Russian Ministry of Finance reported that repayment of the debt will be made at the expense of the budgetary funds provided in 2017 on settlement of a national debt.
