Henrikh Mkhitaryan has thanked Manchester United supporters for their goodwill messages as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Mkhitaryan missed out on a first major winner's medal with United in the EFL Cup final after he hobbled off during their win over St Etienne last week.
The Armenian could return for the visit of Bournemouth on Saturday and gave his followers a brief update on his recovery.
Mkhitaryan tweeted: "Your get well messages are really helping me with my recovery! Thank U."
Jesse Lingard scored against Southampton in Mkhitaryan's absence and could keep his place in the side if the United playmaker is unavailable against Bournemouth.
