During the meeting between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and Indian Deputy National Security Advisor Arvind Gupta, Moscow and Delhi have agreed to boost cooperation in the fight against terrorism and other global security challenges.
"The parties discussed issues related to cooperation in the fight against international terrorism and extremism, and exchanged views on terrorist threats facing various parts of the world, particularly Afghanistan, Syria and the Middle East," the statement reads, TASS informs.
According to the statement, the agreement was reached on further boosting bilateral cooperation and interaction within international organizations in order to fight terrorism and other global security challenges.
