The "Survey for Seismic Protection" Agency of Armenia recorded a magnitude-4.4 earthquake on June 2, at 10:15am local time, Artsakpress reports.
The epicenter of this tremor was in Azerbaijan, 60km northeast of Mingachevir town. The hypo-center of the quake was 12km beneath the surface. The seismic activity measured magnitude 5-6, at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt also in the Republic of Artsakh and is measured magnitude 3 in capital city Stepanakert.
