Another anti-Armenian initiative by Azerbaijan has failed.
As Aysor.am reports, for months Azerbaijan tried to disrupt the activities of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, at the upper echelons of the UN.
As Baku did not like Tatoyan’s activeness in international discussions on the Karabakh conflict, therefore it demanded from the UN to curtail his activities in this international organization and strip him from the highest ''A'' status.
This initiative of Azerbaijan, however, achieved no result at the UN.
It turned out that the UN is pleased with the work of Armenia’s ombudsman and considers it important to cooperate with him.
