Austria has banned Turkey's Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekchi from entering the country to participate in events dedicated to the anniversary of the attempted coup d'état in Turkey, TASS reports citing to the official representative of the Austrian Foreign Ministry. According to him, the Turkish minister's visit to such events would be "a threat to public order and security in Austria." |
Earlier the government of the Netherlands also stated that it considered undesirable the arrival of Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Tugrul Turkesh in the country for the participation in similar commemorative events.
Turkesh had to deliver a speech at the congress center in Apeldoorn.
