Pentagon Froze the Process of Accepting Foreign Soldiers

The Pentagon is considering pulling out of a deal it made with thousands of non-citizen recruits with specialized skills, npr reports.

The reason is concerns and inadequate vetting of recruits under a program called Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest, or MAVNI.

Now the program has been frozen pending further review.
