An anti-corruption agency was engaged in investigating 37 cases against a group of Ukrainian high-ranking state officials, the Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper reported, citing the bureau's response to the media outlet's request, Sputnik News reports.
NABU classifies government and parliament members within the "high-ranking" group.
The newspaper said that the NABU provided it with the figures as of June 30, adding that in July the agency was investigating a total of 389 criminal cases.
EU and US officials have repeatedly called on the current Ukrainian leadership to fight corruption amid the country's internal conflict in Donbass.
