Ambassadors of EU nations in Washington confirmed Wednesday they planned to meet with US senators in a bid to shore up support for a continued nuclear deal with Iran, Sputnik News reports.
"Yes, correct," a diplomat in the EU mission told the RIA Novosti.
Ambassadors from the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the top EU diplomat in Washington were going to join senators on Capitol Hill for talks organized by Democrat Richard Durbin, Reuters informs.
