Belgium wants to have all the details about the future of Catalan president Carles Puigdemont and the four ministers with him in Brussels, in case they decide to extradite them to Spain.
As such, according to Spanish newspaper Eldiario.es, they have sent judge Carmen Lamela a letter listing a series of questions about the treatment the president would receive in Spain. They ask about how long preventive detention would last and whether their imprisonment would be immediate or after declaring.
They also ask which prisons the president and ministers would be sent to and what conditions they would find there. The ask specifically for the dimensions of the cells, the quality of the prison meals and access to showers and healthcare facilities.
