The Armenian Kochari dance has been inscribed in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On the Twiitter page of UNESCO, it is particularly noted:
"Kochari, traditional group dance, just inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity #Armenia #IntangibleHeritage #12COM."
To note Kochari, is an Armenian dance, which provides a sense of shared identity and solidarity, contributes to the continuity of historical, cultural and ethnic memory, and fosters mutual respect among community members of all ages.
