NATO hopes to see new momentum in resolving the Karabakh conflict as it will be good for entire region if it can be resolved, Deputy Secretary General of NATO Rose Gottemoeller said in Yerevan, NEWS.am reports.
"On behalf of NATO I would say we are very positively glad to see recent high level diplomatic efforts and hope that it will get there soon," she said during a meeting at the Yerevan State University.
"I regret that 25 and more years have gone by and the conflict is still unresolved. It is very important for Armenia and Azerbaijan to be working together. I was glad that foreign ministers got together on the margins of the OSCE ministerial meeting two weeks ago in Vienna and the presidents met in October," Gottemoeller said.
