German prince Carlos Patrick Godehard, 39, died after falling from the 21st floor of InterContinental hotel in Frankfurt.
Police have ruled out an accident and no other suspects are being sought, Daily Mail reported.
Several days ago the prince was freed from jail where he was serving time for fraud.
