Female portrait by Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920) was found in London’s Tate gallery, true-news.info reports.
The work was "hidden" in the past century under a different canvas of the same master under the title "portrait of a girl".
Presumably, the original Modigliani portrayed British writer, poet and journalist Beatrice Hastings, with whom he had a romantic relationship.
