The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan told the journalists in the parliament during the discussion of the government program that he will resign within a year. According to him, this is the only constitutional way for holding snap elections.
According to the Armenian legislation, if the parliament supports the government program, then it cannot be dissolved: in this case, snap elections are impossible.
The only way for snap elections is either the resignation of the prime minister or a vote of no confidence by the parliament (which is possible not earlier than a year after Pashinyan's work, that is, not before May 8, 2019).
