Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the Kremlin press service, the situation in the zone of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict was thoroughly discussed. The Russian President informed his Turkish counterpart about his telephone conversations with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The discussions were focused on finding options for an early cessation of hostilities and reaching a political and diplomatic settlement.
The sides reaffirmed readiness to cooperate for reaching a peaceful settlement to the conflict.
