Iran Pledges to Suspend Retaliatory Measures After US Sanctions Are Lifted

Iran will put an end to retaliatory measures after the lifting of sanctions by the United States of America, Mehr reported referring to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh.

Iran's position regarding the failure of the United States to fulfill its obligations under UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and the way of their re-adherence to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is clear, and this was clarified by the Iranian Foreign Minister, Khatibzadeh noted.

After the lifting of sanctions by the United States, Iran will suspend its corrective measures, the leader of the Islamic revolution said.

A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry added that Iran will refer to the IAEA when conducting inspections.
