If We Lose Artsakh, We Will Lose Everything: David Babayan

The international recognition of Artsakh is a very complicated process, but this does not mean that it is impossible. Artsakh Minister of Foreign Affairs David Babayan wrote this on Facebook.
"Who knows what will happen tomorrow, how the world will change? Much depends on our correct work, and we must not forget this. So, what if recognition is a complex process and we haven't reached our final goal yet? This is not the essence of the problem. For us, the most important mission is the salvation of Artsakh, de facto salvation.
Artsakh-centricity should now be a super task for our nation. Saving Artsakh is the N1 task for the world Armenians. If we lose Artsakh, we will lose everything. And let no one have any illusions here, the goals of Azerbaijan and Turkey are extremely clear and precise. I am not saying that we should not enter into dialogue with Azerbaijan and Turkey, of course, we must because this is necessary, even more than necessary. But we must understand that there is no ideal peace.
Peace is a balance, military-political and geopolitical. The only way we can maintain stability and peace is that we must be strong, conduct wise geopolitics, be able to correctly resolve domestic political issues, unite our people. Yes, we must talk about the most pressing issues and understand them correctly, make decisions based on our national interests. The problem is not only the independence of Artsakh, the problem is to save Artsakh, whether through recognition or the restoration of a de facto strong statehood," the Artsakh FM added.
