Germany would like to participate in EU observer mission to Armenia
Germany would like to take part in the observer mission in Armenia and plans to offer its experts to work from November, a representative of the German Foreign Ministry told reporters.
"The federal government is keen for Germany to take part in the observer mission to Armenia and will be able to offer secondment of experts starting from November," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said, RIA Novosti reported.
According to him, the decision on who will be involved will be made by the leadership of the mission, depending on the specific needs.
The mission of the EU observers is designed for two months. The purpose of the work is to contribute to the restoration of security and stability in the region, the formation of trust and the work of the commissions on delimitation and border security, News.am reports.
