Leaving Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan fraught with ethnic cleansing, Armenian opposition lawmakers tell Members of European Parliament
Leaving Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan is fraught with ethnic cleansing: the representatives of the NA opposition factions noted during the meeting held with the Members of the European Parliament Peter van Dalen, Fabio Massimo Castaldo and Lars Patrick Berg.
The guests are in Armenia to get familiarized with the reality, which our country faces, as well as to express their solidarity to the Armenian people in these difficult times.
At the meeting reference was made to the Azerbaijani large-scale aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and the issues on the solution of the Nagorno Karabakh.
It was noted that today many European structures adopted policy of double standards, and in the created geopolitical situation they highly rank the energy interests from the principles of international law.
During the meeting the report on Armenia was referred to, which will be discussed in the European Parliament in the near future.
On November 1, the Head the RA NA Faction With Honor Hayk Mamijanyan, the Members of the NA Armenia Faction Artur Khachatryan, Lilit Galstyan, Anna Grigoryan and Aspram Krpeyan took part in the meeting.
