Military forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey take part in Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline protection exercise
Servicemen from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey took part in an exercise to protect the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
The Interior Ministry of Georgia reports that the purpose of the command-staff exercise ETERNITY-2022 is to increase the mutual operational capability between the military forces of Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan and employees of law enforcement agencies. The scenario of the exercise is to conduct a peacekeeping operation, providing for the organization of protection of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline during a crisis situation.
The first stage of the exercise ETERNITY-2022 took place in Turkey from October 22 to 28 this year, News.am reports.
