Putin, Lukashenko may interact on sidelines of CSTO summit in Yerevan: Peskov
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko will be able to interact on the sidelines of a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Yerevan on Wednesday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Tuesday.
"They will have the opportunity to talk on the sidelines of the summit," the Kremlin official replied to a question as to whether a bilateral meeting between Putin and Lukashenko was planned in Yerevan.
In late October, the Belarusian president noted his intention to meet with the Russian leader in the near future. On November 8, Lukashenko and Putin held a phone conversation discussing the issues of Russian-Belarusian interaction and the upcoming CSTO summit.
