EU has no proof of alleged Iranian deliveries of ballistic missiles to Russia
The European Union does not have any evidence that Iran is allegedly supplying ballistic missiles to Russia, a high-ranking EU official told reporters in Brussels on Friday, TASS reports.
"No, we have no proof that Iran is delivering ballistic missiles to Russia," he said replying to a question on the matter.
That said, he stressed that the EU does have evidence that Iran supplied drones to Russia.
Moscow and Tehran have repeatedly rejected allegations of Russia’s use of Iranian drones in Ukraine. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov deemed such reports to be fake news and assured that the Russian Army used Russian-made drones. In early November, Iran’s top diplomat Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the Islamic Republic had sent drones to Russia but that a small number of them had been shipped several months prior to the special military operation in Ukraine.
