Statistical Overview of Armenian Economy for 2015 February

National Statistical Service of Armenia has reported that Armenia’s economic activates have risen by 3.6% in February 2015, compared with the same time period in 2014. In this regard consumer price index rose by 5.4% in February within a year, the prices of industrial production rose by 4.8% over the same time.

The total output of the country was 92.3 billion drams in the reporting period, as the growth was 2.6%. In terms of agricultural production the output was 26 billion drams, which has 4.9% growth. Construction output was 12 billion drams. Domestic trade turnover totaled 149.3 million drams, it has 6.4% reduction. Decrease was reported in foreign trade turnover, which total output was $319.8 million; the decrease was by 25.2% compared to February 2014. The overall GDP growth is 4.1% for 2015, Arka reports.
