Abbas: Israel Caused Tensions, Not Palestine
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel for the increase of the tension, claiming that it is Palestine that tries to calm the tensions, The Times of Israel reports.
"I am in favor of a nonviolent popular campaign, but I am against violence and using weapons. I have made that clear several times — we don’t want to return to the cycle of violence," Abbas said.
