Abbas: We are Committed to Peaceful Popular Resistance
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declared that the Palestinians would not be "dragged" into more violence with Israel, The Times of Israel reports
According to him, Palestinians did not want to escalate the situation, adding, however, that their "hands are with those who are protecting al-Aqsa Mosque."
Abbas has also said that he is committed to "peaceful popular resistance."
