The schools in the US city Glendale will be closed on April 24 in memory of Armenian Genocide victims, Artsakhpress reports citing ANCA.
April 24 in Glendale schools are declared "Day of Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide ".
"This is an important day for "Hay Dat" and for all those who are fighting for justice and for the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide," the Committee statement reads.
