Georgian Prime Minister: Georgia Proud of Its Children of Armenian Origin

"Georgia is proud of its children of Armenian origin," the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili said, congratulating the followers of the Armenian Apostolic Church on the occasion of Easter, Georgia Online reports.

The Prime Minister, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees Sozar Subari, the chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Tbilisi Giorgi Alibegashvili, chairman of the State Agency for Religious Affairs Zaza Vashakmadze visited Surb Gevorg Church (Saint George) in Tbilisi, where a festive mass was being held.

"I want to congratulate our compatriot Armenians on Easter, as well as all those who celebrate this holiday. The Easter holiday is the victory of good over evil, light over darkness. We are pleased to be here today. Our friendship is very important, it should be protected. Georgia is proud of its ethnic Armenian children. We are pleased that together we build a country that is always proud of the fact that our country is a very positive example of coexistence of multiple cultures for the whole world," the Prime Minister said.
