South Ossetia to Hold a Referendum for Becoming Part of Russian Federation

South Ossetian authorities plan to hold a referendum on entering into the Russian Federation until August of this year, exact dates have not been determined. The president of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov said in an interview with TASS.
"We are already discussing the dates. Any concrete date yet cannot be named yet, but it will happen in the near future, we plan till August," Tibilov said.
He explained that the voting will be on amending the constitution of South Ossetia, which will in the future let turn to the leadership of Russia with a request for accession.
