Situation on Frontline: the Opponent Continues Firing
According to operative data, on the night of April 15, the situation on NKR-Azerbaijani border remained unchanged, NKR Ministry of Defense informs.
The Azerbaijani armed forces with small arms of various calibers, sniper rifles and mortars, more than 60 times violated the oral agreement on a cease-fire.
The situation was the most restless on the northern (Gulistan), northeast (Talish, Martakert), eastern (Martuni) and southern (Hadrut) directions of the border, where the Azerbaijani side, in addition to small arms, used 82 x and 60 -mm mortars and grenade launcher of AGS-17 type.
"The violations initiated by the opponent both during this night, and in the past two days in nature gradually turn into incidents, which also lead to losses.
A prove to this is that on April 14 at about 11:20 p.m. due to the firing of Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of Martuni, Defense Army serviceman Manvel Grigoryan received a fatal gunshot," the statement of NKR Defense Ministry says.
