Erdogan Again Threatened the EU

rt.com

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğanin his comment to the French newspaper La Monde noted that the EU was supposed to waive the need for visas from Turkish citizens since June 1, Arutz Sheva reports.

"The European Union is not behaving in a sincere manner with Turkey. If our demands are not satisfied then the readmissions will no longer be possible," Erdoğan said, referring to the EU's current policy of shepherding Syrian migrants back into Turkey.

"The Western world is in contradiction with the values it defends. It should be in solidarity with Turkey, which has appropriated its democratic values. Unfortunately, it preferred to leave Turks alone," Erdoğan pointed out the EU's reluctant stance on Turkey's clean up after the attempted coup d'etat on June 15.
