Negotiations between Russia and Turkey Lasted Two Hours

Negotiations between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan - the first meeting after the crisis in bilateral relations, lasted about two hours. The parties then began to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation in an expanded format, RIA Novosti reports.

On the Russian side is represented by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Russia's Ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, Energy Minister and head of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation Alexander Novak, Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, the head of "Gazprom" Alexei Miller, the chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, President's Special Representative on the Syrian settlement, Alexander Lavrentev.

The Turkish delegation is represented by Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, the head of the National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan. The meeting was also attended by Turkish Minister of Agriculture, Transport and Culture and Tourism, Turkish Ambassador to Moscow, the deputy chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party and the Secretary for Defense Industry of the Ministry of Defense.
