11 People Sentenced to Death in Vietnam

A court in the province of Lang Son sentenced 11 people to death for drug trafficking in China. Two more got life sentences.
The mentioned group of criminals tried to smuggle 280 kilograms of heroin from Vietnam to China between 2013 and 2014, - News.am reported.
Vietnamese police opened this case in December 2014 making mass arrests and seizing large quantities of illegal drugs. At least 13 from 19 members of the gang were committed for trial, four of them are on the run, one died before bringing to justice one more foreigner is extradited to his homeland.
