Weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan Leaves the Competition Due to an Injury

Weightlifters of 77kg weight class started the competition on the fifth day of the 31st Summer Olympic Games, armnoc.am reports.
European reigning champion at 77kg Andranik Karapetyan snatched 170kg in the first attempt, then managed to lift 174kg but failed to lift 176kg. China's Xiaojun set a record in the same exercise scoring 177kg.
In the first attempt of the clean and jerk Karapetyan didn't lift 195kg and during the second attemp Karapetyan got injured when he was lifting the barbell and left the competition.
