Armenians in Florida Have Not Suffered from Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma has caused large-scale devastations in Florida, uprooting trees, damaging cars and houses, however the members of the local Armenian community are safe and the Armenian Church is not damaged, Pastor of St. Mary Armenian Church Vartan Joulfayan has told the Voice of America Armenian service in a skype interview, Panorama.am reports.
"Thanks God, people are safe and we continue praying for everyone’s safety and the soon recovery of those suffered," the pastor said.
