Serzh Sargsyan Left the Negotiations

The Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan left the negotiations with Nikol Pashinyan. Nikol Pashinyan called for continued civic disobedience.
Today, at the Marriott Hotel, the talks between Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan took place. But they were short, Serzh Sargsyan left the negotiations.

"I think there is misunderstanding. Yesterday, when we talked to Mr. Sargsyan, I said that the matter is not about the dialogue that you have proposed, but about our agenda. And I have come here to discuss the terms of your resignation and peaceful transfer of power," Nikol Pashinyan said.

In response, Serzh Sargsyan stated: "It's not a negotiation, it's not a dialogue, it's simply ultimatum, blackmail to the state, the legitimate authorities. You do not realize the responsibility, you have not learned lessons from March 1. And if you continue talking in that tone, I just have to advise you to the legal field and to the limits of the logical process. Otherwise, all responsibility will lie on you," Serzh Sargsyan said.

Then Serzh Sargsyan left the negotiations, noting that "the force that received 7-8 percent of the votes does not have the right to speak on behalf of the people." "If you do not fulfill the lawful demand of the state, then goodbye," Serzh Sargsyan said, calling on journalists to make conclusions.
