Canadian Diplomat: The Competitive Advantage of the Armenian People Is Their Unity
At the meeting with students at Artsakh State University held on May 11, Canadian analytic, diplomat and speaker Daryl Copeland told that Karabakh conflict is one of the most difficult conflicts and I believe it should be settled peacefully, Artsakhpress reports.
"Southern Caucasus is a complicated region and Artsakh and Armenia have serous security problems. To solve the conflict Artsakh’s strongest aspect must be found, that is, it should have competitive advantage. What I saw in Yerevan these days I haven’t seen in any of the 120 countries, I visited. I guess the competitive advantage of the Armenian people is their identity and unity,’’ the Canadian diplomat said.
"In 2015 I participated in a conference in Yerevan. During that time I have visited Artsakh for a week. I was in Yerevan these days and decided to visit Artsakh with my wife once again," Daryl Copeland added.
At the end of the meeting the diplomat answered students' questions.
Daryl Copeland has worked as a diplomat in the Canadian Cabinet for 30 years. During that time he has worked in embassies including Thailand, New Zealand, Ethiopia and Malaysia.
