Armenian National Assembly Staff and Korean KOICA Agency Reach an Agreement of Support
On May 12-19, the visit of the delegation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia took place as a continuation of negotiations held and works done in 2017. During the visit the programmes and the perspectives of cooperation between the RA National Assembly were discussed, the official website of RA National Assembly reports.
The delegation together with the representatives of the RA NA Staff considered the possibilities and the content of providing expanded institutional support to the NA by the Korea International Cooperation Agency in conditions of rising the role of the National Assembly and the enlargement of the authorities.
As a result of discussions, a preliminary agreement was reached on technical renovation of the NA Public Hearings and Committee sittings, including the conferences, as well as the settlement of the synchronous interpreting systems.
The technical renovation will be combined with the NA technical and head staff training programmes, within the framework of which in November-December of this year the KOICA experts will visit Armenia to provide the efficiency of the above-mentioned works.
