Turkish Media about Pashinyan's Statement on Armenian-Turkish Relations
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement on Armenian-Turkish relations has received wide coverage by the Turkish press.
In an interview with ''Al Jazeera" , the Armenian Prime Minister stated that Armenia is ready to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey without preconditions.
As ''Ermenihaber'' reports, some Turkish media have described Pashinyan's statement as "historic." This emphasis was reflected in the titles of publications: "Armenia’s Unexpected Statement on Turkey", "Important message to Turkey ... Ready to Establish Diplomatic Relations", "Pashinyan’s Historical Call towards Turkey".
The media quoted the Prime Minister's words about the fact that the border was closed by Turkey, from the Armenian side it is open and Turkey has to make a decision to open the border.
It was also noted that Pashinyan agreed to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey without preconditions.
Some of them also outlined the RA Prime Minister's words concerning the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the possibility of the revolution in Azerbaijan.
